About the Role

Join our development team as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer working on our innovative Immersive Studio application and its React-based content editor. Your primary focus will be developing new features, enhancing existing functionality, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of both front-end experiences and back-end services. The application includes a Material UI interface combined with Unity-powered WebGL previews.

Job requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer, ideally with senior-level responsibilities.

  • Expert knowledge of React, including hooks, context API, and modern state management (Redux Toolkit).

  • Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js.

  • Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.

  • Experience with Docker, containerisation, and AWS cloud deployments.

  • Good understanding of best practices in code structure, maintainability, testing, and version control.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, document decisions clearly, and communicate effectively with team members.

  • Self-driven learner comfortable adapting quickly to new technologies and codebases.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience with Electron desktop applications.

  • Familiarity with Material UI (MUI) or other component libraries.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum).

  • Experience with AWS services (S3, Cognito, Lambda, API Gateway).

  • Component-driven development practices using Storybook.

  • Familiarity with databases (Postgres, SQLite) and ORMs (TypeORM).

  • Experience building admin dashboards with frameworks such as React-Admin.

  • Experience or interest in Unity, WebGL, or similar interactive technologies.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and automated testing frameworks (Jest).

  • Interest or experience integrating AI/ML solutions into web-based applications.
